STORY
The Alberta Women of Industry Committee was established in 2019 as a non-profit society.
The Committee was formed with the vision to bring women from a variety of industries together to promote collaboration, celebrate leadership and foster the continued professional achievements of its members. The idea to connect women across a spectrum of industries is essential to our mandate, as we all gain when we all succeed.

Our 2024 charitable partner is Kaleo Collective.

Being a mom is a huge responsibility, particularly if you are on your own.
The Kaleo Collective is a safe supportive community for single mothers who are determined to build a secure foundation for their lives and, in turn, a positive future for their children.

Kaleo Collective believes in changing the future by supporting all single mothers and their children. They welcome all women regardless of age, colour, creed, religion, or orientation into their inclusive environment of mutual respect. At Kaleo, their doors are always open to provide a safe space where every woman who identifies as a single mother can belong and flourish.

Kaleo Collective is a registered charity, founded by Executive Director, Layna Haley and funded by grants, private donors, and event sponsors.
